FLINDERS RANGES: A great tour incorporating some of the best features of the north and south Flinders Ranges. We travel to the top end of the Flinders Ranges via the townships of Burra and Yunta, and Frome Downs station. Five days are experienced in the rugged wilderness of the Gammon Ranges in the Northern Flinders Ranges, unique for its geological formations, flora and wildlife. Walks each day from base camps give time for an in depth look at your surroundings and the pursuits of your special interests. The tour now passes through Parachilna Gorge to the township of Blinman, then on to Aroona Valley. We camp for two nights in this ‘park like’ setting with a full day walk on a section of the Heysen Trail (a walking trail extending for over 800km).
