SOUTHERN TASMANIA: Rich in heritage and alive with nature, this new tour of southern tasmania tour will excite and enthrall. Starting in Hobart, we take you west along the Derwent Valley to Mt Field National Park. Renown for its variety of vegetation, here you’ll be walking amongst some of the tallest trees and ancient ferns. From there we travel south east along the Tasman Peninsula to take a walk through history along the Tasman Trail. Absorbing some of Tasmania’s fateful past as a penal colony, you will trace the steps of some wilful convicts and tour the haunting site of Port Arthur. From this historic site we venture off-shore to the pristine beauty of South Bruny National Park of the south tip of Bruny Island and onto the Labillardière Peninsula. From there we head even further south to the South East Cape, before returning to climb Mt Wellington and bidding a fond farewell to Hobart..
